Short Description
Babette is the name of the protagonist in a short story by Karen Blixen. A cook in one of the finest restaurants in mid-19th century Paris, she finds refuge in a Danish village due to political unrest. After settling in and gaining the villagers' affection for her kindness, she prepares a memorable feast for the small community. During this meal, the villagers, previously divided by grudges and misunderstandings, rediscover harmony and friendship. This story explains our choice to recreate the silhouette of this woman as the namesake of our restaurant: to convey the idea that the spirit of conviviality, harmony, and lightheartedness will be replicated within our establishment, ideals that will be passed on from the owners to our customers.
